Got Windows on your PC?

It's very 90s game sountrack. It's how game music used to sound when it was instruments played as a midi file I.E the same instrument samples played at different notes before storage got to CD level where they could just dump whole songs on there.
 
I remember finding these in Windows XP years and years ago, I never did find out the purpose of them :/ A quick google around and still nobody seems to know what they are for :eek:
 
1:07ish bit, that instantly made me think of final fantasy 7, the big when your in midgar, dressing up as a woman to get into don conerlios mansion

Glad I'm not the only person who thought of Sonic - 50 seconds in it reminded me of the Mystic Cave Zone
