I really loved GOW,, great graphics , gameplay etc,, but im finding im enjoying RFOM, even more, the location fights are great, and so are the weapons, all in all a class game, and if this is a taste of things to come on the Ps3, well bring it on

Single player the game just feels very boring and dull, the lack of rumble just makes it feel like there is no atmosphere, and I really thought I wouldnt miss rumble at all as I've always felt it was just a gimmick.
Also it just seems very repetitve and same old same old. Gears of War was very similar all the way through, but it just had that edge that made you not care and have loads of fun anyway.
Also for me, and I'm about halfway through, theres not been any "Wow how cool" weapons yet either. The chainsaw in Gears Of War made me giggle like a little school girl and grin no end, it was a great experience, all the weapons in RFoM just feel the same with a different model and ammo, thats it
Also vehicles, again I'm only half way through (i think) and I cant see all the fuss about the vehicles that they were sposed to have. Gears of War only had one vehicle so it was poor on that front, but so far all I've been in was a tank in RFoM, and that felt like it was thrown in just for the sake ok it. No real purpose, I didnt even shoot anything cool, just like 5 enemies, one on a turret, whats the point?
Graphically, Gears of War is leagues ahead. RFoM is very dull looking, textures are very flat and lifeless, lighting feels non existent in places and to use the saying again, everywhere just looks the same
Right, onto Online, this is where RFoM walks all over GoW. Gears of War is a lot more, with your mates and have a laugh sort of fun, RFoM is full on competitve and a right frag fest. Its great, I love it and the medals and ribbons make you wanna keep playing it to get more. As well as the ranking system, very well done.
Overall, GoW for single player by miles and miles, and vice versa for online

Kamakazie! said:i am suprised just how bland RFoM looks. it was supposed to be graphically good according to the reviews but it looks distinctly average. Poor in comparison to Gears.
The lighting and textures are very simplistic.
