I have a dilemma I have it on pre-order with little woods that I have already paid for way back in march. Got it for about £28 cant remember the exact amount.

But i'm unlikely to see this in a hurry. Do I go to tesco's tonight and say **** it. Now my nephew is getting a 360 for christmas he's 8. If I kept the lxdirect one for him will it be too scary? Or I could just sell on the lx one.

Aggggggggghhhh

Do tesco still do a no quibles money back garentee?

Failing that you should still run up a profit on the bay

Good games last night for those that were in my party,

Mcdingle :p , you should know by now, if you don't join one of my games after I send you an invite. There will be more invites to come :p (going off line will not save you BTW)

You should give it another go, you might find that after playing with us, you will enjoy it more.

I kinda wish we could have up to 8v8 on some maps.

4 people to kill is just not enough. ;)

I hope it's not a netcode issue, but one of game mechanics and Epic simply felt that on these maps 4v4 was enough.

Another neet thing they could put in is tournament software, so that you could get mabye 4 teams in a lobby and then go off and play each other in either a league or Knock out tournament. That would be quite cool.

I'm not sure if I can play tonight. I might pop on for the odd game, but I have course work to do so I need to get on with that.

I believe the reasons for 4v4 are twofold, 1) The maps are small, arena type environments that simply aren't suited for 16 players, maps like 'Rooftops' or 'Canals' are perfect for 8 players. 2) There aren't dedicated servers for this, so you are very limited as to what you can get from a home users Internet connection.

I fully agree that there are several maps not suited to 16 players. IM canal would handle up to 12 players Also again there should be no reason why 8v8 is not possible. I did it all the time with GRAW and Halo.

So it seems odd that its not available on some maps.

Just to let you know Krono, dont have it yet as Ive got a few games turning up for my birthday so cant risk buying one then getting it as a present. Hopefully should have it by Sunday.

I've addopted a new invite policy. Before every game, when there is space in my party, I invite everyone on my friends list. regardless of if they like the game, play the game or are doing something else. Appear on line at your peril (Mcdaniel will continue to get invites even if he is offline ;) ). I expect to lose a lot of friends due to this spam policy.

Sorry Krono, i know the last few days you been sending me invites for GOW but last night played co-op with my bro in Canada and god damn did we have a good laugh. This game is definitely growing on me now i have to say...got my first curb stomp on the filthy locust:p...that was satisfying to say the least.

Once ive finished off the Co-op with my bro, ill be sure to join u fellas soon:).

No problems, just be aware I will still be sending the invites, you never know when you want to jump into some MP action. Crubstomping and Chainsaw action is common place.

Be aware that I am the spam king for invites. Everyone I see on the dash or in GoW get's em, just ignore them if you're busy :D
No one will ever take my title of invite Spam King.

Good games last night. Sorry I got no so late and left fairly early. Coursework etc.

I wont be on till Sunday at the earliest. God knows how I will survive going cold turke.

There's a video review, think its on Joystiq, probably on Yout00b too. Looks quite nice I'd have to say. Really impressed with the 360 and how all its part seem to work together without complicated configuration. I'm looking at you PS3. Shame MS can't seem to make their operating systems like they do the 360!

As much as I love uni and hate work (despite the fact I have the week off), I do enjoy being able to come home, not worry about coursework, and be able to just concentrate on chainsawing people in the face :D

I have the pain of being at uni and in full time employment, and haveing a family (the family is not actually a pain, just the employment and the uni). So I'm lucky to have any time on the console at all.
