GPU Backplates

Afternoon all,

Having now placed my order for http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-341-SP one of those babys, I want to find a backplate for it.

I cant find any on OCUK site, does anyone have any experience with buying one (within uk) and would like to share the info ?

Some nice ones on the cold zero site. Quite fancy a custom rog themed one for my wf 780.

How strong are the coldzero ones since plastic not metal, will they keep the card rigid? Fancy a black Hexx one for my 290x.

CZ backplates are very rigid and strong, can't speak highly enough of the guy, was superb to deal with when I had plates made, delivery from Portugal was both cheap and quick

Man, I wish I remembered this when putting my second Titan under water. I couldn't for the life of me find a backplate to fit my EK block, so it sits there naked

Are theese CZ backplates easy to fit? And what one would be required for a rev 1 wf 780.

yes setter, very easy to fit, he supplies everything you need

mrmoon, ask him, he will probably find the spec and make one

Use cooling configurator to see what pcb is being used, ref pcb will take one of cz's backplates. Make sure to select relevant air/water plate too.

As for classifieds etc... if you can get hold of a dimensional drawing of the pcb he can probably magic something up, you could even get away with sending him an evga/ek backplate to take dimensions and hole locations from. Ricardo is always willing to help.

Finally got round to getting in touch with ColdZero, impressed with the products he sells, some real nice custom backplates!
Was hoping to receive it today but little bit of a set back

Wasnt finished until today so i wont get it until tues/weds next week, but i did get some testing images

This one is the clear plexi underplate with the patterned area ready for the lettering

Initially i was going to opt for having the top blackplate with the letters cut out and having white letters inserted, but have chose to stick with the patterned clear plexi sections and the letters cut out of the black plate.

Looks freakin lush n cant wait
