GPU Block and Rad cleaning...

The rad will be fine. You'd have to leave the vinegar in it for much longer than 4 hours to do any damage. I always clean mine with vinegar for a couple of hours before use and I cut one in half last year to check and it was spotless inside.

Nah it's not. It's starting to eat the chambers as I can see it coming through. £100 down the drain for a 36p bottle of vinegar. Rad was fine Saturday morning and I killed it by Sat night. Great.

Never again,

you are saying that its leaking?? starting to eat the chambers wtf..

A little cleaning shouldn't cause that to happen! ive had vinegar (neat and mixed) in RADS and have never had a problem.

I can see on the outside of the chambers that its starting to go white like somethings coming through it and its spreading. There's no way I'm going to use it now. I'll just be constantly worry about it.

Going to have to get a new one.

Ive never heard of a quick vinegar bath destroying copper so thoroughly to be honest i don't know its even possible, think of how much gets taken off a dirty 2p when you leave it in a vinegar bath over night....i think you just cleaned out some gunk and might have taken off a bit of copper, but hey ho if you don't want it any more i will take it off your hands at a broken price :)

It's on the outside of the chamber. It may be fine but I won't trust it now. I'll sell it you if you like.

To check if it has eaten through anywhere simply cover one of the inlet ports with your hand and blow into the other. If you can hear or feel pressure escaping then it has been holed somewhere and is probably u/s.
