GPU change killed windows

Took out my 5830 for a moment to test out the integrated graphics in my 2500k. Windows booted fine but Bios defaults were loaded for some reason. In windows some icons of program running were missing, the date was in 2011 and I was getting constant security warnings on the Internet. Put 5830 back, now windows won't boot, even in safe mode. Wtf is going on? It posts fine.

has your boot drive been set back to what it was originally? after the bios defaults were loaded?

Yes, it attempt to boot but I get a black screen after the animation

Edit: now windows will boot but every single application is crashing, cannot system restore, cannot run Windows setup after booting

reseat gpu or try a diff one
find a way of running driver cleaner?
