GPU Charts: Normalized Performance Rating

I'm planning on Crossfiring two 5870's or using a single 5970... I'd see 300% (ish) performance boost over my current 8800GTX apparently...

Hmmm...

28% improvement from my Q6600 to a i7 920 as well.

CPU changeover doesn't fill me with that much confidence now; but the graphics card upgrade still does :)

The older cards with reviews on older drivers are being unfairly punished in the collation I think.

Cards released around the same time seem to have the order I remember when reading reviews.

Take the 9800gtx+ and HD 4850 for example. But then the GTS 250 for no reason whatsover is slightly better.

Doesn't really matter if item X is 0.1 above or below another one.

It's still going to say if you're got one within a few tenths of another it's not worth the change.

Not sure how this can scale like it says since does the cpu not make quite a big differance on preformance of a Gpu i mean if i bought a 5970 i don't think i would quite see 71% more frame rate over my 4870x2.. with my fairly gimping Cpu

Hadn't realised how much performance has increased in the last year or so. 5970 is 342% faster then my 2900XT :(
