Question: Did you buy an X1900 for gaming or just for folding?

Folding mainly - I barely make use of the gaming potential of my 9800Pro as it is

I saw it for sale in the MM for just under £200 and could resist no longer

I have an Asrock Dual-SATA2 which has both AGP and PCI-E which can be used at the same time, should be fun to have a try anyway

I don't agree. I had a 153 pointer with an ETA of several days on one core and a 600 pointer taking a day longer than usual on the other. I would rather have one core going full steam ahead than two taking ages.

Meh, with my C2D its better, infact running two at the same time has always been better!

With a C2D you have vastly more power, so I suspect the polling doesn't cause as much of an impact as it does on a lesser CPU, such as my 4400+.

Will know for myself [hopefully] in a month's time.
