GPU for £50

What is the best second hand graphic card i can buy for £50?
My friend is selling his Gigabyte GTX 650 Ti 2GB OC for £50.
Can i get better than this?

That's a reasonable deal. Second hand ones are going for £50 on Ebay.

Does your friends one have any warranty left and what will you be using it for?

The 7950 was about as powerful as a 670.

So to compare 650Ti - 660 - 660Ti - 670. So yeah, much faster. At 1080p it would be like twice the performance.

Yes a huge difference. Which processor and PSU are you using at the moment?

Fifa will work fine with the 650TI but for 1080P Witcher it will struggle a little, not too much though.

More than enough for any game one a single GPU really, looks good to me.

7950s seem to be around the £60-70 price mark, definitely worth the extra few quid.

I have a 7950 crossfire setup and in single card mode it's fast enough for most games, even Witcher 3 if you turn hairworks off. You should be able to get a 7950 for around £70 used for a non-reference card so well worth it over a 650ti.

I picked up a GTX 580 for £55. So there is potential to aim higher than a 650ti!

Essentially the first number is the generation and the second is a model so *50 is the lowest end card of that generation and *80 is the highest. a *50 from the next generation tends to be around a *60 from the previous generation so a 650ti is roughly equivalent to a 560.
