GPU for £50

Sure if you hold out for weeks and look online every minute of the day you're going to find a cheap 7950.
At this very moment there is nothing from the UK or a bit dodge thats under £80.

Edit : I mean I got a bunch of mech keyboards for dirt cheap, £20 in mint condition but to buy it at this very moment its £50+ easily.

7950 i just sold 2 for 55 each, and ive seen lots more selling for around the same price.

I can't seem to find any on ebay for below 90.
Even the auctions go 80'ish.
Gumtreee does not have any either.

Ah sorry you dont have MM, my bad, people tend to sell stuff cheaper on MM than ebay.

If you're not in a rush to get a graphics card then hold out and just view online every day for a week. Since the weekend is coming up you'll see more people trying to sell their stuff for a lower price. If I see anything, I'll try and let you know.

Probably cracked/dried thermal paste or pads. It's a good idea to repaste and repad the GPU die, VRAM and VRMs when you get a used card which is a few years old.

Cynical side of me says it's broken and the seller is trying to command a higher than spares or repair price whilst not being liable for returns/fault claims.

Could get lucky and be a bargain though.

about 150, i bought 2 of them with water coolers on for 350, but ive seen them go as low as 120 when someone wants a quick sale.

As an addition - I bought a 7850 from ocuk as a stop gap a couple of months back for £80 and have overclocked it massively and it performs better than the 7950 I had sold in preparation for the new 300 series - am thinking of holding on to it now dbue to the new series not being much of a step up
