Hi Guys,

Im going to be upgrading to either the 27" Hazro or the DGM equivalent monitor soonish and I know my 560ti wont cut it at those resolutions.

So my questions are these, should I go for the 4gb 670/680 or the 3gb 7950/7970 Im totaly confused on what to do cost is important and if I should get the gpu first or the monitor and play at lower res till I get the new gpu in a couple of months??

I mostly play mmos such as TSW and SWTOR but I do go on FPS's occasionaly, I also know there has been some people saying that the ATI cards are not doing so well in TSW so im totaly confused on what to do.

Kind Regards
Apem

Monitor first as then you will see more benefit when switching GPU's and it will give you a better comparison so you will then know what the faster GPU brought to the table.

You might be surprised in that the 560ti does better then you think ?

Thanks m8 but i Know i will have to switch gpus to get the best res out of the new monitor its just which way to go.

2gb 670 or go for a 7950/70

The 4gb card will be overkill.

to decide between the two, have a look at benches on whatever your favourite game is to see which one is the better performer :)

thanks but would 2gb cards be enough to max graphics out on say the dgm 27"?

Also one last thing monitor related getting a little worried about the threads with issues about the Hazro and the DGM should I bite the built and opt for the more expensive Dell 27"??
