How much of an impact does adding a gpu block to the loop have on cpu/water temps?

If I was to watercool a 480 instead of say a 670 should I expect my cpu temps to be higher with the 480 considering it runs so hot on air.

my 480 runs at 55oc Max.

That's with an OC currently sitting at 875/2100, with an OC'd i7 920 as well. I remember my 480 hitting 90oC on stock cooler.

How is your loop setup and what size rads etc? Did you always have the 480 in your loop or put it in at a later date. If you put it in later did you notice a rise in your cpu temps afterwards?

I went from a 5850 to my 480 and cpu temps have hardly changed. Maybe a degree or so at most. My 480 loads at 45-48 degrees depending on the game with the cpu also in the mid to high 40's.

I had the 480 prior to going watercooling. My setup is 1 x 360 and 1 x 140. Cools my rig sufficiently, even during this warm summer spell we're having.
