Just built a new system for my daughter and I'm greeted by this every time we switch it on?

It's a brand new card purchased direct from OcUK last week, it's a Sapphire RX580 Pulse 8GB.

System seems to be powering on okay and tried virtually everything so far?

can you post full system specs of the pc, most importantly the psu it has

Ryzen 5 1500X Processor
Asrock B450M Motherboard
Team Group T-Force 2x8GB 3000MHz DDR4 Memory
EVGA G3 650W Power Supply
Kingston 480GB SSD
Phanteks Evolv mATX Case

righto you have a ryzen at heart of the build, this particualr one dosnt look to have a built in gpu so that rules out what i was going to sugest.
regarding your psu that unit is more than enough to supply all the components plus the gpu, i would sugest to remove the graphics card and clean out any dust particals which may cause issues, be sure to clean both the gpu contacts plus the pci express slot on the mainboard, use a paint brush for the gpu and blow with your mouth at the pcie slot on the mainboard, rebuild and turn back on and see if that helps.
if not then if you have a spare cable to use between the gpu and the screen, trying this may work as the cable may be damaged, thridly you could swap the pci express power cable to the gpu, if your psu has a spare swap over and see if this helps. (some psu's have seprate rails for multi gpu's setups, it may not work but worth a go)

if the above steps are a no go you could try the card in a diffrent pc if you have a spare to hand and if the issuse persists then the card may be at fault, in which case contact ocuk for a rma and find a replacment

good luck.

i'd suggest driver updates but becase the screen looks the way it does in your pic thats not a option

All parts are brand new, zero dust to see and tried all sorts with different cables and same result and sometimes even a black screen?

can you try the card in a different pc?

on a side note could you read off the amp's setting on the 12v on the side of the psu, i only ask because if the 12v amp's are too low that can cause all kinds of issues, rare but worth a ask

Just tried it in my PC and showing black screen? Corsair RM750x with a Gigabyte Gaming 3 AB350 and Ryzen 5 1600x.

if you've tried it in your pc and are getting similar behavoir from the card, it looks to me that it could very well be faulty, give ocuk a email or phone tommorow and organise a rma for it, dont loose heart in amd stuff i've built my nephew a pc and thats got a rx 570 8gb nitro and its a bloody good card at 1080p and will be cheaper on your pocket and electricity bill :) (make sure to get the 8gb version if you opt for one)

Sanity check.... You do connect ALL power connectors to motherboard & Graphic card yes? Have you tried different cables?

Shipped the faulty card yesterday and within 24 hours got a replacement... now that's how you do customer service!

Always great customer service. Rma are far and few between for me but when I need it it's always smooth sailing. Always spot on with shipping also, plus DPD is no.1 for me by a country mile. Good to hear you've got it sorted.
