GPU needed, no budget

Are you going to overclock? What is the rest of your spec? What and how many monitors will you be using/are using and at what resolution?
 
7970.

With the latest drivers it is faster than a 680 and cheaper. It is also a better specced card on paper.

Although the difference is within a couple of percent so not really noticeable.

At higher res the 7970 will be a fair bit faster.
 
Unless I am mistaken, that is what the OP is using and I feel we could be wasting his money with some of the cards being posted. Best to confim what his current system is before commiting his money to a new GPU.

I am assuming you are using a 1080P monitor and are after a single GPU (not a 690/7990)?
