i have recently built a pc and everything is working fine other than my 7950 it has power although it doesnt seem to be working with my motherboard which is a z77x d3h could anyone help me resolve the issue

Have you tried with the GFX removed and the monitor directly connected to the board?

Have you put both power cables into the gfx card?

Try updating the motherboards BIOS.

There has been issues with certain NVidia cards with this motherboard also, I seem to remember a Bios update sorted the issue.

Z77, bios update required, your not the first, nor will you be the last :p

Remove card, hook up a display to the onboard connector, update bios, re-install 7900 card - job done :p

its not just that it wont work with the monitor although it doesnt if i connect it it will just say no display connected, its working as the fans are on but its as if it isnt connected the mobo at all

+1 you need latest beta maybe for the gpu

use a usb memory stick and press end at gigabyte splash screen and flash the bios through qflash

download this bios and extract it to the usb stick

http://www.mediafire.com/?mzo66231rs6079e f18c beta(d3h right? not ud3h?) if so use the bios

obv youll need to unplug the gpu and boot from onboard graphics/flash bios and then plug in your graphic card

Tried setting first display as peg in the BIOS while using onboard, save exit then install gpu and see if it works

Tested with DVI/hdmi/vga ports if your monitor supports them?

Will this help because it isnt just not displaying anything when I try using it it wont even show up when I try install drivers or use afterburner and it just stays on 100% fan speed

I don't know,i thought a bios update would get it working, can you try the latest final bios from gigabytes website? just search for your motherboard, other than that idk what to suggest as it should work fine without any hassle
