hi all,
i've recently put my 2 4870's back underwater whilst i'm sending back my 5970 for RMA, and these are now in my i7 rig.
problem is, the overclocks i had on them before in my 775 rig of 840 core 1025 mem causes loads of problems in the new system; in source games i get a 'vertex draw' error and crashes the game, in other games it causes the display driver to crash. i've tried them at 840,830,820,810,800 on the core, and 1025,1010,1000 on the mem and nothing stops it happening.
i've tried cats 9.10, 9.11, 9.12 -> all have the same issue
i use rivatuner MSI overclockers edition to clock them btw.
since i've tried these clocks i've had to drop both of them down to stock again.
anyone shed any light as to why they're doing this?
