gpu overheating?

cheers guys I was leaning towards that one the only thing that put me off was this review,

"Fitting to a Sapphire X1950 Pro - very easy to do, however, the zalman's fan connection is different to what's on the card so have been forced to use the (included) fanmate meaning the innards of my pc have become messier. I was hoping to use AtiTray Tools to control the fanspeed automatically :( - it's really taken the edge off a fantastic product for me"

Can either of you confirm if that's the case?
 
Started up my pc and got this



I removed the drivers then reinstalled and it cleared up the picture quality and incresd the res slightly but the res was locked, tried to restart again but then it reverted to the same as the picture above :/

Is this the end of my graphics card?

Edit: removed atitool and rivatuner then removed catalyst drivers reinstalled drivers and rivatuner and it seems to be working ok for now but I'm still pretty worried about this :(
