GPU Power usage Thread

:DSpec in sig with 6 case/cooler fans, 192w idle, 390w playing bf4. 1 ssd and x2 mechanical drives. Im doing my bit for the planet, team green nv, twimtbp and save the planet by saving power. Far out man.

Whole system 78watt idle (I still use some power saving states), 370watt playing bf4 - rises to about 390w with max GPU overclock (cpu at 4.4ghz) - 2x ssd, 1x hdd.

GPU is usually about 170-190 watt draw when gaming on average, never really seen it going that much over 200 much even with max overclock in a GPU heavy game.

Tbh im pretty impressed how low hw and current nv gpu's run. I used to have two 4ghz i7 bloomfields with sli 400 series gpu's. The metre went into overdrve.

630w with 470's in sli, lots of noise and heat. But im not affiliated to greenpeace lol.

One good wf gtx 670 got me away from the 470's, then i added a second later. Poor clocker though compared to the first one. It clocked way beyond stock 680 speed.

Dang wish I saw this thread last night as would have plugged in the meter.

Lol at on card taking up 800+. My three TIs at stock take up roughly 850 :D. Big volts on these cards are insane

If your still benching this am get that meter plugged in!! Can you do a run at stock too? So that we can compare.
