Hi there

Right first of all, lets be realistic 1080TI's at £500 won't be happening, with continuing short supply it shall probably never happen, not even when product reaches its life end cycle due to lack of stock.

Still we've done the best we can to bring you quite a large selection of cards at fair prices in good volume so they last more than say a few hours, well fingers crossed.

Compared to other big resellers who also have lots of stock on hand, our pricing is much lower, particular on AMD and 1060's. Everything is limited to 1PC per customer to try and make it fair and give everyone a chance.

This is a forum heads up, your finding out first, this shall be promoted through official OcUK channels later this afternoon. :)

Excellent, hopefully a sign that things are improving across the board. I am in a pickle now! Was looking to upgrade my whole system this year, and was going to wait for a couple of months (max) to see if there were any new announcements, you have just dropped a massive spanner in my works, do I pick up something now or wait for Nvidias 'future generation GPU architectures' (from GDC).... good job :)

Well to help the DIY market, I've also done some cheeky prices on the following components, particular focused on SSD and Memory which has also rocketed in price:

Some cheeky component and monitor deals to further sweeten the deal. :)

Wow 8400 retail at £150, Great processor for gaming.

Yep why we did it as they are superb processors, also the 16G kits at £140 is much better than the closer to £200 they've being recently and the TeamGroup SSD's are much better value for money. If we can shave £20, £50 and £100 here and there, it makes the DIY market look a little more attractive and helps to compensate for the graphics card price increases.

Really tempted on 1TB SSD.... :D Payday Monday are these just this week?

Until next Wednesday or when they sell out. The SSD's are below actual cost, we have some marketing support to get them so low as its a new product launch. Graphics cards is a total unknown what my next buys shall be, the low priced cards in each segment are single digit margins based on new landed cost as our old stockpiles are now exhausted hence there is no crazy deals as we have no stock left from before the price increases, but on the flip side we made good money which is why we are happy to make little money by doing these deals.

Wow, saw Sapphire's RX 570 Pulse ITX dropped to £289.99 yesterday, so I ordered.

Today I checked and it's even cheaper, 10% off, if only I'd waited a day. :(

We look after our customers, particular our forum members, drop a post in CS section and they shall sort you a refund for the difference. :)

Is it stupid to buy memory and an ssd and then sit on it for a year? Not too sure I'll be able to afford a whole PC for a while but these prices seem great.

Yes because that is kind of gambling, next year prices could be half, double or the same. But if they halfed you'd be gutted, where is they double you'd be happy but I seriously doubt prices will go much higher, as to be frank prices are already way to high, if they keep pushing higher it won't be good long term at all.

If you can't make use of kit you buy now, then simply do not buy now, put the money into savings and wait. :)

I want Strix for 750£ so I can slap Ek rgb waterblock on it :) Missed the deal last time :(

We did that purely out of goodness of our hearts as had around 100 in stock so gave gamers a chance, now its hard to keep the stock above ten units hence why they are so expensive. Keep pushing all suppliers for more stock but when they ship you 8pc, 12pc, 6pc here and there it makes it very hard to keep them in stock even at stupid prices let alone do deals.

The Inno3D at £750 is a good deal as the X3 is a good card. Plus a deal on the Strix would now be in the £800's as our new cost pricing is now higher and thus prevents us hitting £750 any more.

with the £ doing better and better against the dollar specifically i can imagine prices will drop more. no need to panic buy.

Already taken into account, otherwise how else do you think we got 8700k sub £300, only made possible by the stronger pound and only just too, likewise on the memory and SSD deals, the stronger pound has helped us a lot. :)

+2 . Randomly I have had most of my bad luck on components from OCUK, but they have sorted me everytime. Once with a dud PSU that was no longer in stock I even got an upgrade :)
Plus they have actual customer service you can get through to. If you have ever dealth with a competitor...not good.

Clearly there a price tolerances, but I try buy everything through here.
It is so weird my one year old 1080ti is worth more today than when i bought it :p

Our prices on every GPU segment at the moment is pretty much best out there. Other places are still charging £1000 for VEGA 64, we are at £689, £300 is a big difference.

Yes we pride ourselves on CS it is also why we make contacting us so easy, forum, live chat, email, telephone, social media and even still by post or just work into our shop front. Not one single competitor matches us on ability to contact us, including out of hours too (forum / social). :)

As I’ve mentioned in other threads I’m building a new 4K gaming pc, just waiting on the new amd cpus to be announced to compare the performance and decide between them or the 8700K.
Was looking at the Corsair Vengence lpx, how does the team group Vulcan t-force compare?
Any chance of cheaper prices next month?
I have bought everything bar the 3 main parts cpu, mobo and ram.

TeamGroup, Corsair, Kingston, Crucial the quality is all equal and only Crucial own their own IC. TeamGroup for OcUK is now our number 1 brand, we also use it in most of our SI and they also make the 8 Pack memory modules for us as well which we've now sold several thousand of as performance wise it matches and beats G.Skill but with lower price points and is guaranteed Samsung B Die.

Right a lot of blood, sweat and tears has gone into making this happen, Powercolor are selling us the first batch $40 below the normal price so we can do a pre-order special, we have also then hammered our margin as we really wanted to hit £499 but unfortunately we would make a loss and AMD have no support to offer at present. As such £550 is the best we can achieve, however considering Vega56 from competitors is around £700-£800 I think our price is absolutely market leading. :)

Gratz then :) Stil lwaiting for Strix deal tho! :p

I doubt we will ever see a Strix deal again, even at over £1000 were in big negative numbers with pre-orders and Asus cannot meet the demand, not even remotely close.

All the sub £800 cards have now sold out, infact nearly all our 1080Ti are now sold out, pretty much nothing left.

Are you getting anymore in at 750 Quid? was gonna buy one but waited to see if any new cards would be announced at the Nvidia Gtc the other day.

The problem is we cannot do anything without stock and the stock we are getting is not enough to put them in stock, so we simply cannot do anything I am afraid.

Not that you can know for sure, but I wonder if even 20% of those were bought by gamers.

The way the cards sell out immediately suggests to me that miners are still gobbling them up.

Let's face it, the majority of gamers are not all clamouring to buy £800 - £1000 GPUs.

We monitor the orders and generally most cards have been purchased with CPU's, motherboards, ram kits etc. So when orders are going through for 1 card, with an 8700k, 8 Pack memory, that most definetely is not a miner, gamers and DIY upgraders are back in their droves.

Remember high pricing has prevented a lot of gamers getting the deal they wanted for months, we've done what we can with voucher codes but that was like 200-300 codes, our customer base is in its thousands and the 200-300 codes were posted on forum only which is a much smaller percentage of our customer base and hence why they lasted a few days. When we drop a price online our stock sells out insanely fast as we have a huge customer base of gamers who are not forum members also buying from us.

As such by just dropping all the prices online, the DIY and gaming enthusiast has seen and clearly purchased themselves an upgrade. When we dropped prices online a few weeks ago, same happened, stock sold fast and we could see people buying entire baskets so clearly doing an upgrade.

A mining customer orders differently, they either just try placing repeat orders on same card which were not seeing so much off this past week, though miners are still calling us trying to buy cards in volume which we refuse to do so as we need our inventory for our regular customers and SI.

But typical a miner just buys a card, also the cheapest card of a GPU type and if they do order components with it then its like a Celeron CPU, 4G memory module and high wattage PSU, mining cables and mining motherboard.
The only mining orders we entertain in B2B at moment is on AMD as we have huge volumes are of stock, 1000+ VEGA, 1000+ RX580 and as such today a mining customer wanted a couple hundred RX 580 which we told them no unless they ordered the mining cables, PSU's, motherboards and processors from us, which in the end they did. They expect no discount as they can see our AMD pricing online and they know its the lowest in the industry and that were just making around 10% margin but we have enough AMD to fulfill mining, gaming and professional requirements, as such sales are strong.

NVIDIA supply is still extremely lacking for us, having good strong prices last week has pretty much wiped our stocks out with the return of DIY and gamers buying as we were the first to get prices down, were pushing for more deals too but most partners are very reluctant to do deals with so little supply or other regions crying out for stock and willing to pay more. But I push relentlessly for best price and stock!

Hi. My last 2 major upgrades have been got from here a bargain black Friday 2014 gtx 980 and a black Friday 2015 intel i7 bundle.
My 4k TV arrives on sat. Any chance of another batch of ..... I won't say affordable ;) .... Slightly less mental priced 1080tis coming in or is that likely it for now? Thanks

Yes I have another batch incoming, keep your eye on the Zotac Mini and Inno3D Twin X2 1080Ti's as fingers crossed I can do something on those next week, but I will only have like 100 of each so they will sell out very quick.
