Hi there. I just have a question regarding my Gigabyte RTX 3060Ti Eagle OC. In some heavy games (CoD Cold War for example), I noticed that, after match while returning to menu, when card doesn´t need to render that much on scene, getting queiter, cooler, and jumping easily by 10degrees down straighaway. But what I can hear is very annoying "click sound".

See link for video, that I attached from other guy on forum here. Same click happens to me:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=d...EJn9JZmE9D3fSFJbj7aOJUBn1ThsktagtAbTX8F0NmNMM

He also had same "issue" with different cards in the past.

Did test on my pc and need to point few things:
  1. stress test ran for nearly 24hrs, temps. max 68 degrees in full 100percent load, no artefacts at all
  2. card fully works, without any issue. even better than I expected lol
  3. click sound occur only while in heavy loads. more specificly - when card getting "out of heavy load". it also happened straight when i finished manually stress test mentioned.
It looks to me, as card has semi-passive coolers, which aren´t working at all unless under 50percent load, card just simply forcing and stopping fans. and then click sound occurs.

I tried to find any solution, and wasn´t succesfull.

Thanks so much for any relative replies and help. Much appreciated.

For addition: MB: MSI Tomahawk Max, R7 3700x, PSU: Corsair RX650

When you place a load on the GPU you also place a load on the PSU, and when you take that load off the GPU you also take the load off the PSU. I think it is your PSU. The RX650 has a bypass relay that can click when the load suddenly changes. The Gigabyte does not have a relay. I would ask Corsair about it. It's possible the PSU is faulty or it's just down to the very sudden change of loading.

pp111, thanks so much for your reply. to be honest, it just happened recently about two weeks ago. out of nowhere. the truth is, i also thought about PSU starting to having some issues. because as I mentioned in my original post, card works simply just perfectly. which doesn´t make any kind of sense to me. if something wrong with card, it will show artefacts, or some major issues with clock or other things. but heavy load for nearly day, and nothing happened. i stressed her way too much tho:) i am not totally new to hardware, but never faced this "click" issue before:(. and as you said, it can be relay, i did not think about that. and card itself doesn´t have any:)) will have an look for new psu, just incase I think. hopefully it will sort my issue out, and not gonna waste money, as I´ll definitely focus on some good one.

I just ordered be Quiet! Straight Power 11 80Plus Platinum. Clicks started to appear even while in Windows only now. Not really often, bud it did few times. Even otherwise PC works completely fine, I bet it must be PSU then, slowly "dying". Lets see in a couple of days. If I just did not waste 160 pounds xDDD
