Hi All,

Hoping you can advise I'm currently running a GTX780 with twin Asus VN247h 1080p monitors.

I'm hoping to upgrade to Vega56/64 and Twin 1440p/144hz Freesync monitors (due to NV/Gsync mega price increase)

Any ideas how to achieve this, best price/quality balance (I'm not as flush as I used to be)

Mostly playing FPS Games and general internet shizzle (usually stream sports one one screen and play on the other)

Well I'm not trying to be funny but you did kind of tell us what you want then ask what's best to get, if your after a Vega56/64 and Twin 1440p/144hz Freesync monitors the the best thing to buy would be a pair of Vega56/64 and Twin 1440p/144hz Freesync monitors ;)

There's a great V56 on offer ATM for £350.

One thing that may be helpful, is that unless you plan to stretch a game across both screens and have a big bar in the middle, then you only need one 1440p 144Hz Freesync screen, the other can be a cheaper/regular 1440p 60Hz nothingsync screen and on the desktop you will never tell the difference (barring a disparage in quality of panels/colour reproduction ofc).

why would you want identical monitors ?
i do pretty much the same thing but i use a main monitor for the game and a cheaper monitor for other stuff.
get a good 27" monitor for games and keep the second one you have for other stuff
I currently have a 34" 3440x1440 for games and an old 1920x1080 for other things. works great. both are ips and both calibrated so they look the same.

Thanks Ubersonic and pp111, I wasn't sure if I could mix monitors without a performance hit so I can defo save some money that way. I Just don't have the disposable income like I used to (mortgage Bills etc)

Just trying to get the best value for my money ;)

I have almost the same, 34" 3440x1440 and 27" 2560x1440 and both IPS (side monitor used to be an old TN 24" though) and it's great for watching stuff like youtube on the side or just that extra screen estate in general above what my main monitor already offers. In my case it's paired with a Vega 64, but same difference really ...
