Hi all, wondering if anyone could share some advice with me. I've had the Valve Index vr set sitting in my room for 5 months now, unable to get any rtx at MSRP like many other people. My PC currently has a 1050 ti , could anyone recommend me an upgrade that may be a little easier to get my hands on at the moment, that would work somewhat decently with the Index. I think the rest of my build should be ok for now at least.

Not that I've seen no. A few weeks ago there were a few used 2080 ti's on at about £900 which I could have recommended, but even those have been bought up.
All I can recommend, like everyone else, is to either wait or setup stock notifications.
