GPU upgrade

After building my pc last Christmas I have decided that now is the time to upgrade my GPU, but I don't know whether to get a second hd7950, a r280x/hd7970 (which according to AMD you can crossfire with my 7950) or to get a lower end nvdia card like a 760 or something to have as a physics card (if you can, I haven't really looked into this but I heard from a friend that it is possible).

Also I was wondering if my PSU will cope with the 2 GPU's, I have and OCZ zt650 that is 80+ bronze. I read somewhere that it should be fine as long as my +12v output is over 48a (Which it is), and it did come with 2 6+2 pci e cables so I guess it could cope with 2 cards, but I just wanted to check because the last thing I want to do is fry almost £500 worth of graphics cards.

If you wondered my pc specs are:
Intel i5 3570k (stock clock speed)
Sapphire hd7950
MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600hz memory
OCZ ZT650 80+ bronze PSU
1tb HDD for boot and 2x320gb HDD in raid 0 for media both 7200rpm (I found the 2 320gb hdd's in an old pc in my garage and thought waste not want not!)
NZXT Phantom 410 case with some xigmatek 120mm fans

If you need any more info please let me know

Thanks Jack

Unless you find your GPU is struggling, I'd get an SSD and a CPU cooler to overclock that 3570k. Although another 7950 would be the most obvious step forward, now it isn't a great time to be buying them as they are low in supply and high in price. I think Gibbo said he had ordered some, coming in at around £225 - but don't quote me on that. 650w should be fine for a couple of 7950s.

The separate PhysX card is possible, but you wouldn't want to spend £200 on a 760 for it. A 560ti would do just as well.

Cheers for the advice, I would probably buy in January when there is sales on. But for me, doing mainly gaming, I find that my GPU isn't quite cutting it for some new games, I don't really find my cpu being getting high load so the cooler (although it would be nice) would probably just end up being a bit of overkill. But I didn't even think about an SSD but that might be a very worthwhile purchase.
