I currently have a GTX 670 but would like to upgrade to a newer card, I am gaming at 1080p, any recommendations?
I have been offered a 970 for a good price.
Many Thanks

i dont know how complicated the warranty would be for you, if his card still got it, but with £40 saved, i would rather get a new card with warranty.
i see more value in this 390 Nitro for £250

I was looking at the 390 Nitro, is it worth waiting a month or so for anything new?

the closest dates rumored about new gen GPUs, is polaris desktop around early summer, and mobile in april, still no word about desktop pascal and mobile around early summer.
so you gonna have to wait at least for june/july

A 970 will give you approximately double the performance of the 670 at 1080p, so it's a pretty big jump in performance. If you're only saving £40 from the retail price though I'd probably be tempted to buy a new GPU so you can have the peace of mind of the warranty. Release dates for the new GPUs are expected to be around summer/autumn time. Nothing within the next month.
