Yea indeed, I never knew you could get so much info about the monitor, guess it only works with digital tho.

So how comes it shows my Dell 2407fpw as having an upto 76hz vert Frequency, but I can only use 60hz?
I have an 8800gts 320mb
[I want to use 75hz]

Doesn't the refresh rate change with the resolution? so you can use high refresh rate at lower resolutions?

Nope. Works with analog too. Mine has both types with my main rig (in siggy) plugged into the DVI port and this rig into the analog port. Obviously both rigs are'nt on at the same time.

Nice one, but is that the same monitor serial number that you use to register its warranty, I'm guessing it is?

If so, I'm probably being a bit over cautious here, but I'm not too sure whether I'd want to broadcast it.

It'd be a right bummer if I needed it for warrant purposes only to find some cheeky begger had already used it to rma their 2nd hand model.

All warranty for our kit is tied to the workstation service tags. You could try phoning Dell with that serial number but you would not get very far.

Nice one.

It doesn't show my proper resolution of my monitor. It shows 1600x1200 when I can use 2048x1536 in games and on desktop with the Viewsonic .inf driver. The other information is correct though :).
