GPU-z now shows Fiji ASIC Quality

Hi all, I just noticed that the new 0.8.9 version of GPU-z finally shows the asic percentage of the Fury cards and was interested in seeing the numbers other Fiji owners have got. Mine gives a dire sounding 61.5 percent even though I was under the impression it clocks fairly well (for a Fiji). What does yours say?
 
58.7% on my Nano. Likewise for a Nano it OC's fairly well. I always thought the Nano were cherry picked chips for thermal and voltage also. Who knows.

Thread on OC.net with these results, does suggest there are some results that look very low relative to say Nvidia GPU's but still OC fairly well. The highest ASIC I saw was 70.1% in said thread.
 
I don't think it will really matter much as it seems gpu's with HBM struggle in the overclocking department, But I guess we'll see if that holds true when the next batch of HBM cards surface.
 
ASCI is about the purity of the silicone and voltages rather than overclock ability.

In theory, depending upon the impurities, I speculate that a "dirtier" chip can potentially mean higher overclock ability. A specific impurity may give the chip differing qualities both positive and negative. This may explain why some pretty low ASCI cards achieve high overclocks.

Myself, I would look at silicone that overclocks really well, specifically, it's impurities to see if that could be replicated in production.
 
Fiji chips are very big and this could be why the ASICs seem a bit low.

You also see this when comparing a fully enabled GM200 chip (TitanX) to a GTX 980 Ti with the later tending to have higher ASICs.
 
What is show for interpreting ASIC quality in GPU-Z is slightly wrong in the context for AMD. This is from what I've seen on Hawaii/Fiji cards, what The Stilt explains as ASIC quality has held true for me.

I collated this info by The Stilt in section "What's ASIC quality?" heading in OP of Hawaii bios mod thread on OCN.

For anyone that is not aware of The Stilt he is a pro overclocker with great AMD product experience, etc.
