GPU-Z Now supports Ati/AMD gpu memory usage.

no i don't think so.

with all my games i get readings of between 930mb - 1.70gb~ depending on game. same with / without CF

So how has it managed over 1GB on my set up?
Also. 1.7GB is a massive amount of VRAM. I honestly don't think it's reporting the correct values.

To quote ;

I've seen reports that the readings with GPU-Z 0.5.5 on AMD cards must be divided by the number of GPUs you have, e.g. if you see 3GB vram usage on a 2-way crossfire setup, then it's actually 1.5GB vram usage per GPU.

Would make sense.
I don't think it's the crossfire, but rather that it detects X amount of cards/GPU's.

Ah cool, I'll be interested to see if the 1gb is a bottleneck on a 5970

No you won't be able to see if it's a bottleneck from this. You'll never get readings above 1GB per GPU (i.e. 2GB value from GPU-Z 0.5.5 which seems to count the total), when you only have 1GB vram per GPU.

MSI Afterburner just updated to Beta 7 which now supports memory usage :D

Although it's only showing 1 GPU memory usage, doesn't show the other card in crossfire, for me anyway.

I think that's to avoid it getting messed up.
It shows the VRAM usage fine I think, it seems realistic.

So is it the total vram of both cards combined? Because on the graph it only shows it as 2048MB.

There is an option to change this value but if it isn't combining the cards it's pointless changing it to 4096.

In OSD, you can only put GPU 1 memory usage.
Which would be the correct value.
