Crossfire you say? So it's really 850mb per card? I then get daft readings of 450mb in game, that would be 225mb, doesn't make sense.

with all my games i get readings of between 930mb - 1.70gb~ depending on game. same with / without CF

Also. 1.7GB is a massive amount of VRAM. I honestly don't think it's reporting the correct values.

Would make sense.
I don't think it's the crossfire, but rather that it detects X amount of cards/GPU's.

maybe because im runing 3 1080 screens with max settings

anyway try MSI AB beta 7 which is out maybe it'll read yours better

Possibly, but I did the same on a 1GB card at 5870 launch. Unless you're using AA too?

No you won't be able to see if it's a bottleneck from this. You'll never get readings above 1GB per GPU (i.e. 2GB value from GPU-Z 0.5.5 which seems to count the total), when you only have 1GB vram per GPU.

That explains it.
When I used Eyefinity, AA turned a game playable to a 0 FPS slideshow

In Deus Ex, my maximum VRAM usage is 702mb. That sounds fine.

MSI Afterburner just updated to Beta 7 which now supports memory usage

Although it's only showing 1 GPU memory usage, doesn't show the other card in crossfire, for me anyway.

I think that's to avoid it getting messed up.
It shows the VRAM usage fine I think, it seems realistic.

So is it the total vram of both cards combined? Because on the graph it only shows it as 2048MB.

There is an option to change this value but if it isn't combining the cards it's pointless changing it to 4096.

In OSD, you can only put GPU 1 memory usage.
Which would be the correct value.
