After finally setting up f@h again, i am using the gpu2 client with my 3870 @825/1202... fahmon says im getting 1558ppd?

Are you also running the SMP client on the X2?

I'm assuming that the AMD card is hogging a core so he'll be left with only 1 to SMP with.

Just check the CPU usage, although at 3.1 you could probably make the deadlines quite comfortably so go for it.
