Why does the GPU's utilization drop to approx 35% when you put the "view distance" to maximum playing Arma 2:OA,but if you bring down the view distance, the gpu utilization increases ?
There is plenty of Vram/monitored,so it can't be not enough vram, could it be not enough Vram bandwidth ?

CPU bottleneck? As you increase draw distance your CPU will need to process more information.

You missed my sarcasm :p

The view distance is adding more detail to a closer view I would imagine, so the higher distance view is using less detail?

(I rectified the questions, sorry for any inconvenience)

Why does the GPU's utilization drop to approx 35% when you put the "view distance" to maximum playing Arma 2:OA thus making the fps drop, but if you bring down the view distance, the gpu utilization increases thus increasing fps ?

Still doesn't explain why CPU usage sits at 30%
Maybe this game doesn't work on more then 1 core...

I not sure why the cpu only sits at approx 30% in use,but i did study all 8 cores usage & its spread across all of them variously/multi threaded engine. I think the cpu processes as much data as possible in a very short period of time, the CPU frequency is the bottleneck.
