It sure is annoying and I have been picked on several times before for pointing them out. I don't mind odd ones but sometimes some people's posts are just so badly sturctured and spelt. Ah well, not much we can do tbh.

Me fail English? Thats unpossible!

As long as I can get the jist of what the person is trying to convey I'm not too bothered, though if its loaded with txt tlk I'll just ignore it and not even bother trying to decipher it.

its because on most forums, people type as they would speak, i have never heard anyone say 'i would have....', i hear 'i would've' / 'i would have'.

as or needing to post a thread about it. i pity you.

Personally, I don't care either way...

One thing I have noticed is that, generally speaking, the more informed and witty posts on forums are constructed using accurate spelling, punctuation and grammar. Indeed, many of you anti-grammarnazis are fortunate you weren’t around during the days of usenet. Some of the channels I frequented were literally a hive of axe-grinding, traditional grammar pedants. It wasn't pretty.

It amazes me how many people say...

"It must have been me" rather than "It must have been me"

Really annoys me too :o

Any others ? :p

Ignoring your atrocious grammar, I think you'll find that most people actually say "It must've been me" or "It must 'ave been me"; they will drop the h and/or conjoin 'must' and 'have' whilst cutting the start of 'have'.
