Watched it, meh. Should've been streaming fodder. Needed more Sony and Fanatec product placement as was not hit over the head hard enough with it. The lead actors voice got very irritating due to its monotonal nature.

No your not the only one. It might have not been a perfect movie. (What movie is) but i enjoyed it quite a bit.

Like most motorsport films it was very hard to watch if you actually enjoy motorsport.

Nah, you can just not have a particularly strong view on motorsports either way and still enjoy it. Im sure there are some who do like motorsport and the film but most motorsport enthusiasts will tell you how comically bad and unrealistic the racing scenes are in most motorsport films.
I'm hoping the forthcoming F1 film with Brad Pitt manages to get it right, based on what i've read it seems like they have gone to a lot of effort to make things authentic.
