Grand National 2015

£50 on £22 back, so just working out if that's a win or a loss, should know by middle of next week when the complex maths are worked out, just need some more crayons.

Same :D

put £25 on total and got 40-1 on Many clouds so £235 back profit, not bad for an hours work looking up horses results.

Just got the odds too, 40/1. :D £5 EW!

C'mon 980Ti launch day...

edit - hang on, £235 profit? You must have had a good old flutter today!

20 x 5.6 = 112 less commission.

Commission is 3% on winnings. 3% of 112 is £3.36. Not £20 odd quid.

My account is only showing £92 winnings which by my reckoning is at odds of 4.6 on £20, not 5.6.

My balance reads £109.39. I can't work that out at all. Even with £92x0.97 + stake, it's still not right.

Just looks like you're paying slightly less commission then?

Your win is 20 x 5.6 less commission, you're about 15p more than 3% commission aren't you?

Then where is my £20 stake?

My balance should be 0.97(20x5.6)+stake

I've just had an email from Betdaq. Apparently I should know to take 1 off decimal odds, so 5.6 is actually 4.6. Bonkers.

Bad National for me,and one of my worst in the last 10 years. Ended up with £55 on 5 horses. 2 fallers, 2 finishers (not placed) and only McCoy to save me any dignity - £5 E/W @ 7/1.

So £41.25 down...ouch!

The Mrs picked Many Clouds because 2 is her favourite number. £1 E/W bet (so £2 stake) won her £52 (odds were 40/1 at the time of the bet). Jammy or what. I went for Tranquil Sea (100/1) and Shutthefrontdoor (7/1) and won nothing!
Put £1 E/W on Mon Parrain for my daughter (so she could take part in the jumping up and down and yelling) but that came in 11th (at least I think so - never heard them mention it once!).
