Exactly the problem, it says 7950 reference but all the reviews and forums say this v2 version of the card is based on the 7970 board layout which would mean you should need a 7970 waterblock confused

Do the 7950 & 7970 not share identical board configs in reference design. I have fitted a 7970 EK waterblock to a reference 7950 and it fitted perfect.

It lists both 7970 and 7950 reference..

Hmmm, am VERY tempted to dump my GTX 670 windforce for this.

After years of using AMD, and going back to Nvidia for first time for ages with this card, I have decided I prefer AMD drivers and software.

Tempted to get a couple of these, but my 2 concerns are the waterblock issue and whether the air cooling works well (in crossfire) in a Silverstone case with rotated motherboard.

This is worrying. I have just sent Samsung a service request since the Displayport on my S27A750D has died.
