Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition

Old school lighting has definitely given me the classic vibes, especially when Dr Dre hits the radio

Thinking of picking this up now it is finally in a decent state and it's £55 on the store, what a joke... but you can get the physical disc for £15 brand new.

I'm really not sold on an all digital future.

Edit: the store is the PS5 version, there is no physical release of that and no upgrade path if you have the PS4 version it seems. Another sucky move by R*.

Glad I have zero interest in GTA6.

Maybe will be reduced, the digital version is reduced to £20 on the Xbox store. Otherwise maybe try CD Keys?

I picked it up Saturday and had a quick play on Vice City last night. Had some nice nostalgia but it is noticably old! Unlike you i have massive interest in GTA6!

Got back into GTA III with the update, looks better with the new lighting.

But bloody hell is this game hard. Quite frustrating when failing a mission to have to redo all the cutscenes and travel to the destination etc!

I actually prefer the newer lighting, classic is way to dark sometimes. At least there is a replay option now days. I think some missions have checkpoints, but that might be VC or SA.

I finished the game at the weekend but I've got to agree regarding the difficulty in some missions. The travelling between areas to then have a random BS encounter leaving you dead or your escort dead and then having to replay all the build up again to main mission is just frustrating.
The final mission involving the airport is a nightmare for this, think it took me a dozen attempts lol

I'm pretty sure in the Vice City remaster there is some in mission saving, I feel GTA 3 is the afterthought of the collection, I still enjoyed it though from a pure nostalgia stand point
