Hi

I have been using Autograph at sixth form however on the website this seems to be acedemic software only, are there any alternatives that you could reccomend?

Thanks

i want it to do algebraic graphs so I can get exact data, so I just put in y=x^3 or y=1/x^2

can you do that in excel cos ive never really played around with it?

You can coax Excel to do this with formulae, providing you generate a list of x values and do a fill-down on the formula in the column for the y-values.

A freeware program I like for graphing is R
Mostly command-line driven but very powerful and expandable.

Yes. You may have to give values for x though.

Used to use origin at univeristy, as it was good for scientific stuff. No idea how much it costs, but there was a free trial I think.
