Hi all,

Ok need some software where i can record daily/weekly/monthly sales, discounts, voids, apc, spend per head, costs and all the figures can be easily viewed in graphs, bar charts and pie charts.

It must be easy to use and i want to be able to compare figures. Ie compare the weekly sales vs the weekly costs and then if need be overlay the weekly voids etc.

Any ideas? Oh and it needs to be freeware or at the very least have a free trial so that i can give it a go. Dont mind spending a few quid if its exactly what i need and its easy to use.

Thanks

I already have excel.

I was looking for software that was a bit more graph orientated. Ie the software was actually designed to do what i want to do rather than just having the ability to do a simple version of what i am after.

I'm fairly sure Excel can do all that, and Excel 2007 will give you nice 3D graphs too.

What sort of graphs are you after, can you post some examples?

I didnt think Excel was graph software?

I dont have any examples as i dont have any graphs yet lol!

Excel can be and is used for some serious number crunching in many organisations and I'm sure could easily cater for your needs.

I've got it as part of Office 2007 and hardly touch it, but even so I've knocked up a quick graph with very little knowledge. I've added some screenshots to illustrate.

Very simplistic I know, but bear in mind it took all of 5 minutes and its only about the third time I've used the program! I guess someone with knowledge of spreadsheets could make it convince the Bank of England that their bank was totally stable (cough).
