Hi,
Hopefully somebody can help!

I have a Geforce GTS 450 with latest drivers and a Syncmaster 226BW monitor.

I'm an illustrator and use photoshop to colour scanned artwork.
On my old ATI graphics card the resolution was 1280 X 960 which was perfect...
with the Nvidia card all resolutions except the native one of 1680 x 1050 the images are all flattened so a perfect circle shows as an oval.
I've tried loads of stuff but nothing works please help.
cheers,
Ade

Right click in desktop and go to nvidia control panel

Display -> Adjust desktop size and position

Try the 3 different scaling options with the resolution you want to use.

Why don't you want to use the native resolution?

Just curious but how is 1280x960 perfect on a 1680x1050 monitor?

Apart from not running at the native resolution you're displaying a 4:3 ratio image on a 4.8:3 ratio screen which would surely lead to distortion unless you're not filling the screen.
