graphic problems

hey sometimes when I’m in game there’s like a oily colour in the darker areas of the screen it’s kind of like ghosting but it’s just an oily colour and its only in dark areas.
E.g. when i move around a corner it appears on the wall but only when I’m moving and it appears on steps when i run up them.

does anyone know what it’s called so i can look it up cus it’s very hard without a name if any of u guys know what’s causing it I’d be very grateful ????

All my drivers r up to date btw cus that’s all i got from other forms

It may be the colour that your monitor shows, an not the gpu. some monitors dont show some colours as entirely black, and just show a greyish colour.
it could be artifacts on the GPU though.
