I have spent the early evening overclocking my Palit 680, and I ended up on GPU Clock +145, Mem Clock +135. That managed two cycles of the Heaven Benchmark.

It wasn't until I started playing games that I noticed really bad screen tearing. So I clocked down a bit and the problem remained and even after I went back to default settings I continued to get awful tearing. This is with adaptive v-sync on.

I have tried it on Alan Wake (really bad tearing), fifa 12 (tearing I never used to get) and BF3 has started getting tearing. I overclocked with precision X. Any ideas?

Correct, not to this level.

New issue now. My 680 has started making an "electroniccy" creaky buzzy sound under load. It's really noticable with Alan Wake and it wasn't happening before.

Upon closer inspection, it appears to be the PSU :S

Ok, for you forget the Adaptive V-Sync and turn on V-Sync instead in the NVCP. As for the noise...DO NOT USE varnish.

Lol, that thread.

I have reset my PC, reapplied the OC and the screen tear is gone. PSU is a bit annoying though. Might just be that I am focussed on it too much.

lol It seems adaptive v-sync is better for single monitors and v-sync for multi but sometimes vice versa works.

Glad you are sorted and turn the volume up :D
