its coming out in 2008 i heard ea tried to push it but realized it will be like a bf2 1.3 patch style with big glitches so backed of till 2008

I havn't actually seen anything that specifically says "Crysis won't be coming out till 2008." All I've seen is stuff saying it has been moved to EA's 2008 fiscal year which begins April 1st 2007. So what does this mean?! Could it come out in April as originall planned around that time? Very confused

lol i wouldnt touch an X1950XT or whatever if you want to play all the newer games @ high FPS with eye candy, whilst preparing for Crysis...

really the only way to go at the mo is an 8800GTS midrange, or 8800GTX hi end solution, otherwise you will find yourself upgrading again, soon, and be a lot of $$$ out of pocket!

ea delayed crysis to fall under their 2008 financial year but doesn't mean release date of crysis in 2008 lol. it's going to be out in march 2007

No it isn't, EA said after April, Crytek came out and said its much later than that, so good luck with March as im sure April is after that, and early 2008 has been tipped. :p

When will we get laptops with DX10 gfx cards? I'm planning on picking up a laptop next summer before uni, so hopefully by then I'll be able to get something very nice.

When nvidia do a g80 refresh, most probably, the current core is just far too power hungry/dissipates too much heat to place in laptops, they also have to design it with power stages, which i would assume could be quite hard to do.

It makes my go7900gtx look anaemic power consumption wise.

g80 with a gig of ram in a laptop :D, now that would own more than an sli laptop.
