Graphics Card for Photo work ?

I've been asked to build a PC for a friend of the family who mainly uses their machine for fairly serious photoshop work and making Photo movie DVD's. I'm not all that sure on the requirements for this kind of thing

Can anyone offer any advice ? Thanks in advance.

If they don't game at all then it doesn't matter, ATI's used to be better for multimedia - not sure if this is true these days.

Edit: Photoshop / Video Editing. Get a Quad Core + RAM + Disks. This is Mac territory TBH.
