Graphics card fro a HTPC

I have purchased a Samsung D8000 LED and would like to equip my HTPC with a graphics card to suit it. Can anyone recommend a suitable card that is HDMI 1.4 capable? Would it also be possible to output sound via the single HDMI cable to my receiver?

...for around £40. It is 1.4 compliant and very very quiet. I have just popped one in my HTPC.

There’s not a lot to say about the available display outputs, except that Asus uses the same VGA/HDMI/DVI combo that the reference card employs. The HDMI output is v.1.4-compatible, meaning it works with the latest 3D-ready displays. It also carries lossless HD audio, so long as you're using the latest 260.xx drivers.

...the audio carries on the HDMI cable. I have used Optical digital output from the motherboard though.
