Graphics Card from OCUK B Grade

Well, bought a graphics card from OCUK B grade thinking that it would have its normal warantee remaining since it was first sold (since I took it that B grade are returns?). Anyways, I checked with OCUK, and it appears they are only doing the first 14 days themselves, and the remainder is with the manufacturer.

This is a problem, as the manufacturer in my case (Gainward) dont deal with end users, but only the suppliers. I contacted OCUK and told them that by graphics card had a problem (it didnt, i havnt even tried it) and that I bought it a month ago (well outside the 2 weeks warantee they supply, even though I just bought it, ofc all this as a test scenario). This is what I found.

The supplier (OCUK) would send me to Gainward for my warantee remaining on the card.
Gainward would send me to OCUK.

As you can see, this is a problem. The consumer is being sent in circles.

What is the solution to this please? Or do I just avoid B grade stock in the future?

Thanks

Regards

This isn't even a new problem with gainward - awhile back (2005/2006) when they changed their RMA procedures I got stuck in a loop between the retailer and gainward trying to RMA a card - both firmly insisting I dealt with it through the other... eventually the shop said they'd deal with it.

Well, I havn't even had the card for a few days yet, and I'm not liking this. I'm going to be sending it back under the distance selling act. I'd just rather pay for a proper warantee. Anyway, the new graphics cards are just around the corner. Plus, my whole PC is out of action anyway due to the motherboard still being with EVGA. They still havnt gotten around to replacing is due to some shortage, and are waiting for more board deliveries.

This is very frustrating. I will have to fork out to send this back!
