I'm building a new system and I bought the Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P motherboard, which has no on board graphics. I won't be playing games or anything of the sort, mainly Photoshop work, music and videos and hoping to run Windows 7 on it.

So I was wondering if you could help me out with picking a cheap graphics card that'll help, around £30 or £40 if possible.

I'm using an AMD Phenom II Tri-Core BE, 4GB of G. Skill DDR3 RAM and have a 550w PSU.

Cheers.

Yeah, 550W would be more than enough for that setup. that cpu uses 95W, and memory barely even needs factoring into power requirements.

I'm using a 650W psu with a GTX260, and thats more than enough. so you'll have no trouble.

You'll be fine sticking pretty much anything into that machine with it's 550W PSU (assuming it's half decent). Personally I'd get something like 9400GT cheap as chips and overall not terrible.

I'd get a 3450 over a 4350 if it's going to be watching HD Videos, half the stream processors yes but the 3450 supports HD acceleration and the 4350 doesn't. A 9400 would also be a good choice...
