hey just wondering if dual "Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4650 1024MB DDR2 PCI-Express Graphics Cards" would be enough to run most/all games on full specs and if not what would you guys suggest, thanks
perpy

perpy, when deciding on which gpu to get, the next question is always generally what resolution do I game at as the higher the resolution the more powerful gpu required...

then you should consider the gpu memory and the system memory once again the more the better

If you game at 1280x1024 then you will be OK with that card as it has a lot of gpu memory i.e 1g so will eat through games..

well im looking at around 900 for the whole load, so monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers and obv the base unit itself and ive found a good deal but im not sure about how good the gpu would be

and from what ive seen building your own may not save you that much money and seeing as i have never had experiance in building my own, i wouldnt want to take the risk

If you have 900 to play with you can still get a prety good single card, try a 4870/5770you should be able to fit that in your budget. also, you only dont save money when you build a computer for just casual use, ie. web browsing, word documenting etc. For PCs above 400ish you will get so much more than a shop bought one. Building a computer is easy really, kinda like lego, everything just pushes together.
