Hey Guy's,

I have recently bought a Gigabyte GeForce 780Ti graphics card,

Its a whopper of a card and its amazing!!

I'm having a slight problem tho and I hope someone can help me with it. I installed the graphics card and updated it all and its fine with the driver's and I'm using the Duel DVI-D cable also so I can play with 144hz; The monitor I have is a BenQXL2411T. My card has installed fine and I have had no errors installing it, The only problem I seem to be getting is when I play games I can hear a screech from my graphics card? I play wow and its screeching like hell but as soon as I minimize it disappears and nothing again, same with BF4 and other games I play. I don't understand what it is, Ive changed my Monitor settings to 144hz and im using the right cable, I have my NVidia Control Panel decide my 3D application. but when I want to turn vertical sync off and boost my FPS im getting a horrible screech!!! Any suggestions?!

Please help!

The chances are it most likely going be coil whine

But check it not just a faulty fan...
To check if it a faulty fan just hold one stopped at a time and see if the GPU still screeches...

If the coil whine is really bad or it is a faulty fan then just RMA the GPU card..

I just don't get why it would screech like mad when I up the graphics on my games or change my vertical sync off, Is there a problem with the card at all with it doing this? or does this occur a lot on some cards?

Nothing to be alarmed about, it happens on a lot of high end Gpu's from both Nvidia & AMD. Try looping the Heaven benchmark for a few hours or so, it may quieten down if it's unbearable.
