Graphics Card is fuzzy on full screen?

Go to the 'My digital flat-panels' menu in catalyst control center and mess around with the image scaling options. HDMI is known to have scaling issues when used with monitors.

hmm

my monitor does not have DVI-I ports or mini DP. So where can I purchase a DVI-I to DVI-D cable and which of these should be male/female?

My monitor has a DVI-D cable, so should I get a DVI-I female adapter and connect to my gpu using the adapter?

It's a 3D monitor isn't it, check in the settings on the monitor to ensure there isn't any stuttering/enabled 3D that might be causing it.

hhm... this type of thing can happen when the monitor is set to 24hz, common problem with Crysis games. To fix that you create a custom resolution , you could try that and then see if it has any effect:

CCC > My digital flat panels > HDTV support > add > click the arrows that point inwards once (pointing down and up) > accept

you should now a have a weird custom resolution a little lower than your main resolution e.g. 1912x1076

Load up your game and select your custom resolution

Are they faint black horizontal lines? Only really noticeable when dark colours are on the screen? Only happens during games?

I had a 1" or so black boarder around the screen edges but not sure if it was blurred, I set overscan to all the way to the right at 15% overscan to get the edges of the desktop to the edge of the monitor, but not sure this will help as I don't think I had trouble with a res and hz in game.

I came in here expecting to see a full screen image of a pixelated graphics card.. I am very disappointed!

On another note had this happen to me once, changed the cable and it sorted it. Pro tip never buy a gpu cable cheap off the bay.

Also, monitor settings look through them and have a gander maybe something will catch your eye

Run FRAPS, play a few different games with vsync on and see what your max frame rate is limited to in each. Note don't count the menu as they're often not run with vsync regardless of settings.
