Graphics Card not installing properly?

Hi I recieved my GFX from overclockers and I built my new pc. The graphics card is ATI 4870X2 and it is plugged into the motherboard.

I have downloaded drivers off the Readon site and when I try to install it says....

Im gonna say you've probably got the wrong drivers. Did you uninstall your old GFX drivers?

No its a brand new build of a pc. I've only installed whats was on the motherboard disk.

reseat the card, and make sure the power leads are connected properly to your card

sorry if stating the obvious but sometimes it helps

Try downloading the latest drivers from here and see if you get any joy - Clicky

The onscreen display wouldn't work if it wasn't seated properly

Got it working. Problem was I'm on my sisters PC, not mine. I am so stupid sometimes. Got onboard graphics on this xx

so you were trying to install a card that was in a completely different machine?

did you download the correct drivers such as operating system?
