Graphics Card Or Processor

I've got the Asus premium (which is mostly the same thing as the deluxe) and 1.55v was the best I could find on any newer BIOS, though that was 4 months ago. Having said that 1.55v really is a sensbile safe limit, especially for a stock cooler. I don't even want to put more than 1.5v through mine and I'm using a Zalman 9500.

And 2.5ghz ain't too bad at all and won't bottleneck a 7900gt unless you really overclock the card, and even then only in Oblivion. I'd watch your temps though (and think about getting a new heatsink) and try to see if you can hold that clock at slightly lower volts.

I'm sure 1.55v is safe, provided you have good case cooling as well and good airflow. My old 1700+ Palomino AthlonXP reported 1.9v... but those chips are a different story. :p

Asus probe shows 42C at idle and 52C under load. Im quite sure thats well within safe limits for my processor. I think I have a good case cooling system, and if the CPU temp was too high I think I would have noticed some abnormalities by now.

It would have been nice to have a higher voltage, not only for now but if I did go for a better cooling solution I could have pushed my chip much further.
