Connecting up the DVI's and HDMI should be easy enough but unless you have a monitor with a displayport input it could be tricky to get the 4th screen going.
You didn't say what your intended use is for the four screen setup
If you just need to display across four screens and graphics horsepower isn't a concern, then it would be much more finacially viable to use a pair of older videocards.

That doesn't do 4 screens.
I think a card like the HD 6850 will run four 1080p screens provided you get one with 2 miniDP outputs.
You run 2 from the DVI connectors and 2 using these:

It really depends on what the OP wants to run 4 screens for.
If no gaming is involved, and they have two x16 PCI-E slots, then a couple of £20 cards would do the job.

As far a I know, the sapphire flex cards are the only ones that do 4/5 monitors from a single AMD card.
To me it still looks like a HD 6850 supports 4 screens as long as it has 2 DP connectors.

That's only true for the 5xxx cards. With 6xxx and later, AMD enabled the cards to supply 4 outputs.
However, I wonder if getting a single card for 4 monitors is really the best use of the OP#'s budget.
Are you planning on using it for gaming? If so, go for the single card. If not, buy any two of the cheapest graphic cards you can find (both from AMD, or both from NVidia, to keep drivers simple), and cannect two monitors to each.
